Doom's years of torment at the hands of the Maker finally catch up with him in a secret history of the real Reed Richards. As that past surfaces, tension builds inside the Ultimates — Doom seems more fixated on recreating the life he was supposed to have than living the one in front of him, and the team begins to wonder how far he will go.
