THE DOORS MORRISON HOTEL

Leah Moore wrote this Morrison Hotel anthology together with the surviving members of The Doors, and artists from across the comics world bring it to life.

The graphic novel threads the band's impact through the legends that made them icons of the counterculture and inspired generations of artists, poets and outsiders. Its stories unfold as the free-spirited 1960s give way to the turbulent 1970s, an era in which women, Black Americans, Native Americans, gay and lesbian people and other marginalized communities kept fighting for equal rights, while protests against the Vietnam War spread across the country.
