Starship Godzilla: Invasion X [Kai-Sei Era] #2

Ayan has taken command of the Starship Godzilla while her mentors travel the galaxy seeking an end to the war. Her crew is dispatched to recruit allies, beginning on the Simian homeworld, where securing that people's formidable support depends on restoring a city long abandoned. The arrival of Kai-Sei Gigan interrupts the mission and tests both the new captain's judgement and her crew's willingness to follow her. The issue continues the Kai-Sei Era's reworking of Toho's kaiju as a space-opera setting, with familiar monsters recast for an interstellar conflict.
