Star Trek: Gold Key Era #1 Facsimile Edition #1

IDW brings back the very first Gold Key Star Trek comic as a faithful facsimile reprint, offered with a standard cover and a foil variant. It is a chance for longtime fans to revisit the original crew's earliest comic adventure and for newcomers to see where Star Trek in comics began.

Captain James Kirk and the Enterprise are partway through their five-year mission when an exploration party stumbles onto a dangerous secret and realizes the truth far too late. The issue captures the charm of 1960s licensed comics, complete with the bold voice of the era, and makes a fine addition to any Star Trek collection.
