Speed Racer: Tales from the Road launches as a new quarterly series, each issue pairing a one-shot feature with backup shorts that expand the world of Speed Racer.

This debut's chilling headline story follows a ghastly scavenger that feeds on wrecked racers, until its car-devouring frenzy sets it on a collision course with both Speed Racer and Racer X — and introduces a brand-new racer to the mix. From Eisner winner Chris Robinson and artist Guillermo Sanna, with additional shorts by Brandon Thomas and Zoe Tunnell spotlighting Trixie Turnwell and more.
