PUNISHER VS. SPIDER-MAN #1

Dan Abnett returns to Frank Castle's world alongside artist Matteo Della Fonte for a mini-series revisiting the earliest encounters between the Punisher and Spider-Man. The two New Yorkers could hardly approach crime-fighting more differently, yet a chance meeting — and a plea for help from an ally out of Castle's past — forces the wall-crawler and the vigilante to work side by side. The opening issue sets up an uneasy alliance that threatens to collapse into open conflict at any moment, told as a look back at the days before either man knew what to make of the other.
