In 1957, Ed Wood released Plan 9 from Outer Space, a cult film about aliens reviving the dead to wipe out humanity – out of fear of a galaxy-destroying weapon created by us. But what has happened since? Did the aliens give up? Not at all.

Almost 60 years have passed, in which they have tried nearly 50 more times – and humanity has gotten better at fending off the attacks. Now they return with their 59th plan: a devious, almost hopeless masterplan that just might actually work.
