Story

Spycraft meets Spellcraft in North Valley: a slick adventure in the style of James Bond fused with the supernatural thrills of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

This gripping comic adaptation of the hit novel by writer Blake Northcott (Barbarella, Catwoman) is impressively brought to life by Giuseppe Cafaro (Suicide Squad, Witchblade).

The Father Division, a secret CIA black-ops unit, hunts and eliminates the most dangerous threat in history: magic. On a routine mission, Agent Malek discovers that a spellbook — more powerful than a nuclear bomb — has fallen into public hands.

As the world continues to spiral, in North Valley — a sleepy suburb known for golf courses and overpriced real estate — everything seems to go on as usual … until a string of murders casts a dark shadow over the town. As Calista Scott investigates the death of a classmate, she stumbles upon the most dangerous weapon of all: The North Valley Grimoire.

  • Genre mix of agent action, urban fantasy and thriller
  • Adaptation of the hit novel by Blake Northcott
  • Artwork by Giuseppe Cafaro

"I love this book. Blake Northcott has seamlessly shifted genres and proven she's as masterful in magic and fantasy as she was in science-fiction. Don't pick this up unless you're prepared to not put it down." – Mark Millar
