Story
Sixteen-year-old Jordan Savage is barely coping with his parents' divorce, while his twin sister Winter handles it in her own, completely opposite way. Then the siblings learn the truth: their dull, squabbling mom and dad are ancient barbarian warriors who defeated the sorcerer warlord Farklar the Fleshless three thousand years ago and have been lying low ever since.
Farklar is back, and his horde of grotesque Mordorks is closing in on Des Moines. So the whole family piles into the minivan and heads for Iowa to stop a magical apocalypse, if the parents can stop bickering long enough. Dennis Hopeless and Brahm Revel blend family drama with sword-swinging fantasy action. Collects Just Brutal #1-5 plus the zero issue The Cold Open.
