Monkey King Omnibus

Eisner-nominated artist Chaiko adapts Wu Cheng'en's sixteenth-century novel, one of the founding works of Chinese literature, into a fantasy adventure in his own visual style. The monkey at its centre acquires supernatural ability and intelligence and applies both, initially, to mischief on a considerable scale. Nominated for Best Adaptation from Another Medium, the omnibus collects the complete retelling and assumes no prior familiarity with the source.
