HEAVY METAL MAGAZINE

A year after its return, Heavy Metal keeps pushing forward with this hardcover edition of issue #5. Ongoing serials Gladiatrix (Dan Gordon and John Stanisci) and Ink (Charley Parlapánides, Vlas Parlapánides and Marco Failla) continue, while Craig Wilson's Cold Dead War wraps up a chapter.

New arrivals include Dark Horizons by Philippe Pelaez and Benjamin Blasco-Martinez, set around a deadly forbidden zone on Kepler-452 b, and Thellus by Simona Mogavino and Carlos Gómez, a mythic saga of tyranny and rebellion. Blue Angel by Philippe Gauckler, Fernando Fernández's The Callistan Menace and Fernando Dagnino's Turing Test for Humans round out the mix.
