Story

Across distant systems and fractured realities, new forces take shape. This issue of Heavy Metal unites stories driven by conflict, transformation, and discovery.

At its center is a new vision of Taarna, presented by Ridley Scott and Scott Free Productions: a world marked by violence, survival, and memory. Written by Aaron Guzikowski (Raised by Wolves) and drawn by Andy Belanger, this story redefines the iconic warrior for a new era.

Popular series like Millstone (Michael W. Conrad & Ilias Kyriazis), Gladiatrix (Dan Gordon & John Stanisci), and Ink (Charley & Vlas Parlapanides, art: Marco Failla) continue their storylines as mysteries deepen and new twists reshape entire worlds. In addition, Noir Horizon (Philippe Pelaez & Benjamin Blasco-Martínez) and Thellus (Simona Mogavino & Carlos Gómez) push their arcs further and uncover new layers of power, resistance, and conflict.

The issue is rounded out by standalone science fiction stories, including 2430 AD (adaptation by Fernando Fernández), Space-Time (Chauzy), and The Ouroboros War (R. G. Llarena), each exploring their own visions of the future and the unknown — complemented by Burton & Cyb (Segura & Ortiz) and much more.
