The town of Vail descends into chaos after leading actress Summer Stephens, in town for a tenth-anniversary celebration, receives a threat that leaves residents and Blood Mountain tourists fearing for their safety. As the local Mounties chase conspiracies and flee past police barriers, superfan Taylor questions her loyalty to the fandom yet can't quite bring herself to leave.

She still hasn't visited every filming location — the trails where Lucy and Cain fell in love, the famous Fang Cafe, the vampires' den. Determined and wearing rose-colored glasses, Taylor presses on, only to find that the fictional vampires of her dreams may be far less dangerous than the angry fans and disgruntled stars lurking around every corner.
