Arrested with her family in her native Holland, deported, held in multiple Nazi concentration camps, and orphaned by the age of seven, Arbel turned her survival into a lifelong mission to confront every form of such atrocity. Today she lives in Israel, where she and her brother emigrated with foster parents after the Shoah, and she travels frequently to share and record her testimony.
