Story
EC Comics' dark-fantasy anthology delivers what it promises is its most savage issue so far. Four-time Eisner winner Mark Buckingham, known for Miracleman and Fables, writes and draws a lead story of sword-and-sorcery horror gruesome enough to turn the stomachs of the dead.
Backing him up, Cameron Chittock, Melissa Flores, Sami Kivelä and Alison Sampson head further into forgotten kingdoms of lethal sorcery and ancient curses, each tale ending in the cruel twist that defines the EC tradition.
