The Saga of Atlas and Axis 2

Pangea is reminiscent of our world a thousand years ago: small, medieval villages, in the north plundering pirates like Vikings. The big difference: all the inhabitants are upright-walking, talking animals – and above all dogs set the tone.

Atlas, a clever greyhound, and his best friend Axis, a wiry terrier, survive the attack on their home village. The raiders also abduct Atlas's sister. Determined, the two swear revenge and take up the pursuit – with little more than a huge pile of dog mess and a Viking primer as clues.

Pau's dog saga combines a genuine swashbuckling adventure with funny charm. Despite the cuteness factor, things get hard-hitting – not for small children. Between humorous interludes and animal-instinctive behaviour, Atlas and Axis pursue a larger goal: to lift the secret of the magical bone and to find the legendary Bowl of Plenty.
