The Saga of Atlas and Axis 1

Pangea is reminiscent of our world a thousand years ago: small, medieval villages and in the north pirates – a kind of Viking – who plunder, burn down and massacre or abduct the inhabitants. The big difference: all the inhabitants are upright-walking, talking animals – and above all dogs set the tone.

At the centre stand Atlas, a clever greyhound, and his best friend Axis, a wiry terrier with strong instincts. When their home village is devastated by foreign raiders and Atlas's sister is also kidnapped, the two swear revenge and take up the pursuit. Their first clues: a huge pile of dog mess – and a Viking primer.

Pau's dog saga combines a true swashbuckling epic with pure funny style: cute, but hard-hitting – and not for small children. This is the prelude to a larger adventure, because Atlas has a special mission: to lift the secret of the magical bone and to find the legendary Bowl of Plenty.
