Blue Eye Samurai: Cry of the Yurei #1

This new miniseries explores Mizu's early years. When Daisuke, a brutal samurai who does business with the Swordmaker, uncovers both her gender and her mixed heritage, young Mizu is suddenly exposed. She flees into the forest, only to be pursued relentlessly through it. Alone, frightened and ashamed, she crosses paths with Sachiko, a mistreated housemaid who understands her pain. The question is whether they can trust each other enough to survive.

Show writers K Perkins and Mike Johnson script the story together with the series' showrunners, with interior art by Aviv Or. First of four issues.
