AVENGERS: ARMAGEDDON #5

The fifth and final chapter of Avengers: Armageddon brings the story to its breaking point. In the aftermath of the previous issue's devastation the world lies in ruins, and public opinion turns sharply against super heroes. Trust gives way to hostility, leaving the Avengers isolated at the very moment they are needed most.

At the centre of it stands David Colton, forced to reckon with what his power has cost him and everyone around him. Writer Chip Zdarsky draws the event's threads together here and sets the stage for the relaunched Avengers series he creates with Marco Checchetto.
