Black Hammer #1 Facsimile Edition #1

Marking the tenth anniversary of Black Hammer, this facsimile edition reprints the very first issue exactly as it appeared, including the original design, advertisements and back matter. It also serves as a lead-in to the upcoming ongoing Black Hammer Forever, which relaunches the universe with a new cast.

Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston introduce a band of former heroes stranded on a strange farm after a catastrophic fight. Cut off from the world they protected, they struggle with buried secrets and old regrets while wondering what leaving might cost them.
