Waiting for You at the End of the Runway

Former actor and one-time child star Chihaya hangs up his career after ten years. His father, also president of the agency, surprises him by appointing him manager of his up-and-coming model colleague and childhood friend Shion. Reunited after three years, Shion meets him coldly and dismissively, spurring Chihaya on: he wants to prove he can succeed as a manager.

As Chihaya gets used to the unfamiliar work and witnesses Shion’s brilliance as a top model, memories return of the moment in their youth when the two nearly slept together. That past stirs new feelings in Chihaya. Shion notices Chihaya’s intense gaze – and makes it unmistakably clear: “Next time, I won’t let you get away.”
