Story

For the first time, IDW’s epic, ongoing TMNT comic saga is released in three easy-to-collect volumes! Each volume runs over 1,000 pages.

In 2011, IDW launched an ongoing series that, with 150 issues, became the longest in the history of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now you can start from the beginning with these massive omnibuses – each volume collects 50 issues.

From the start, the series told a sweeping story about family, heroism, and tragedy on an epic scale. TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman developed the storylines together with writer Tom Waltz and later Sophie Campbell (taking over from issue #101). They were supported by artists like Dan Duncan, Andy Kuhn, Ben Bates, Mateus Santolouco, Cory Smith, and others, who gave the series its own style without losing the strengths of the classic comics.

The first story arc begins with Raphael wandering through New York alone, while his brothers and Splinter search for him. As the story progresses, the new origin of the TMNT is revealed! Witness the first appearances of April O’Neil, Casey Jones, Old Hob, Baxter Stockman, Krang, Shredder, and many more.

Major storylines included:

  • “Krang War”
  • “City Fall”
  • “Northampton”
  • “Attack on Technodrome”
  • “Vengeance” – the finale of the first 50 issues with a battle that changes the Turtles’ world forever

These omnibus editions are the perfect entry point for new readers and offer fans an easy way to collect the complete ongoing series in just three volumes.
