The Turtles find themselves stranded at sea aboard a sinking ship, with a hungry mutated shark waiting just out of sight and fully equipped to make turtle soup, on account of his large mutated arms. How they extract themselves from this is left genuinely open, and the issue is happy to admit as much. All-ages storytelling that commits entirely to its own nonsense, which is the correct approach to the material.
