Story

If you're a cop in 2142, you can't trust anyone – not your partner, not your spouse, not even yourself. From writer Jordan Thomas (Mugshots) and artist Daniel Gete (Biker Mice from Mars), the hyperkinetic near-future action epic Skin Police returns with a brand-new volume: in a world where morally gray policing, illegal black-market cloning, and political tensions are about to boil over, the bullets fly.

Agents Eckis and Sheen have sworn to protect civilians from the acute danger of the illegal clone doppelgängers known as "Dupes." These can "pop" without warning – any passerby on the street or in the subway could turn into an unpredictable maniac in seconds. As thanks, the public hurls the slur "Skin Police" at Eckis, Sheen, and their colleagues – an expression of resistance from citizens unwilling to sacrifice their civil liberties for unprecedented security measures. But what if the Dupes aren't as deadly as everyone believes? What if they could be saved? As an underground movement grows in their support, its leader may be someone disturbingly familiar to the Skin Police.

  • Near-future science fiction about control, identity, and paranoia
  • Illegal cloning, moral gray zones of policing, and civil rights
  • Action-packed thriller from Jordan Thomas and Daniel Gete
  • Collects: Skin Police 2 #1–4
