In these epics, the Cimmerian meets kings, sorceresses, monsters and the minions of Thoth-Amon; the pirate Valeria also experiences a great adventure. The black-and-white art by exceptional artists such as John Buscema, Gil Kane and Alfredo Alcala comes especially into its own.

Additionally, the volume offers the official Marvel comic adaptation of the film Conan the Barbarian (with Arnold Schwarzenegger), implemented by Michael Fleisher and „Big“ John Buscema, coloured by Deborah Pedler and Lynn Varley – including photos and articles about the film.
