Red Scare

Peggy's life is marked by fear and uncertainty: after a severe bout of polio, she doesn't yet know whether she'll ever be able to walk properly again. In her American hometown of the 1950s, communist spies are suspected everywhere, and ever since her father returned from Korea, her mother has often been sad.

When Peggy comes into possession of a strange red staff that grants her the ability to fly, a solution to all her problems finally seems within reach. But sinister figures are also after this fantastic artifact…
