After the explosive finale of issue 1, Ted confronts his coworker Sarah and confesses he believes his workplace, Ayn-Styne, has been infiltrated by aliens pursuing a sinister plan. Recognizing that he needs support, she agrees to help him investigate — without revealing that her actual assignment is to spy on him. Ted’s suspicions are confirmed when, deep in the bowels of the gigantic Ayn-Styne building, he unexpectedly uncovers evidence of a massive conspiracy.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, journalist Kyle begins interviewing the mysterious billionaire and Ayn-Styne founder Noah — surfacing further questions about the company’s true goals.
