In Gunsmith Cats Burst Omnibus Vol. 2, an illegal street race exclusively for V8 fans takes place. While high bets fly online, Rally sits at the wheel of her new Mustang II King Cobra to shadow Bean Bandit. Bean is the favorite - but his obsessed archenemy, Detective Percy, is also in the mix. And Percy plays dirty: he pockets 10 % of the bets and wants to rig the odds by setting mercenaries with rocket launchers on Bean.

Back to bounty hunting, Rally wants to catch a mafia informant who jumped bail - but a sniper takes him out on the orders of Rally's archenemy Goldie. Since being shot in the head by Rally, Goldie has been presumed dead, but she's not seeking revenge - she no longer remembers who shot her!
