In the 1970s, long-haired geeks Cameron and Ryan tinker away in their garage to revolutionize computer technology. When bailiffs show up over debts, a young woman named Anoukis suddenly appears. She promises to solve all their problems if the two do her a favor: they should invent the smartphone as quickly as possible – a device they're going to develop in the future anyway.

For support, Anoukis brings along an old phone from Franck, which is actually only supposed to be built decades later. Forty years on, the nerds have made the breakthrough, and now Anoukis can finally try to stop Franck and his phone from traveling to prehistory…
