Franck is 13 years old, an orphan and firmly determined to find his parents after learning that they may still be alive. His trail leads him to the place where he was found as a baby – where a prehistoric theme park is currently being built. Fleeing from a snappish guard dog, Franck falls into a pond, regains consciousness in a strange grotto and quickly realizes: the dino robots suddenly look frighteningly real, and the cave people are astonishingly primitive – they haven't even invented vowels!
