The Saga of Atlas and Axis 3

Pangea is reminiscent of our world a thousand years ago: small, medieval villages and in the north pirates – a kind of Viking – who plunder, burn down and abduct inhabitants. The big difference: all the inhabitants are upright-walking, talking animals, and above all dogs are in charge.

At the centre stand Atlas, a clever greyhound, and his best friend Axis, a wiry terrier. After their home village is devastated by foreign raiders and Atlas's sister is kidnapped, the two swear revenge and take up the pursuit of the kidnappers. Their trail: a huge pile of dog mess and a Viking primer. Despite the cute funny style, things get hard-hitting, so the story isn't for small children.

But this is only the prelude: Atlas is pursuing a larger mission – the secret of a magical bone – in search of the legendary Bowl of Plenty. An adventure full of humour, action and a touch of magic.
