Basil, Esperanza, Fibus and Master Flamel have recovered from their experiences in the catacombs of Notre-Dame and set off on a new adventure to Crete.

To solve the riddles of the Founder, our heroes have to enter the famous Labyrinth of Daedalus and defeat the dangerous Minotaur – the monster from Greek mythology. For this they need not only muscles but above all brains, because the labyrinth is studded with traps of every kind. As they draw ever closer to the Philosopher's Stone, the Man in the Iron Mask lurks in the shadows, waiting for his chance to strike.
