Story
Death catches up with all of us – now in DC Finest! In 1988, the comics world got to vote on one of the medium's most controversial questions: should the “Boy Wonder” die?
When Jason Todd's impulsive nature once again clashes with Batman's methodical approach, Jason sets out alone to find his birth mother. Meanwhile, Batman's current case leads him to the Middle East, where the Joker is brokering the sale of a nuclear weapon to terrorists. To prevent a global catastrophe and find Jason's missing mother, Batman and Robin reunite and initially foil the “Clown Prince of Crime's” plan. But this setback sets a far darker scheme in motion that culminates in betrayal and a deadly rendezvous with a crowbar...
The decision to let the second Robin die divided fans and critics and remains one of the most controversial story arcs in the Dark Knight's history. Can Batman escape the abyss without the “Boy Wonder”? And would the fans accept a new, headstrong teen as Robin?
