Benny is a little boy who would like to be perfectly normal – but he isn't, because he possesses incredible powers. Uprooting trees, jumping higher than a house or hurling cars through the air with his bare hands? No problem for Benny. The harder part is dosing his powers properly in daily life: what he touches breaks all too easily, and that's why at first nobody wants to play with him. When he has a cold, though, his powers leave him, and he really is just a well-behaved little boy. Bad manners and criminal dealings are anathema to him anyway. So he keeps getting tangled up in adventures where he can put his super-strength to good use – and as long as he's careful not to catch a cold, villains and crooks barely stand a chance.

A charming classic by Peyo (»Johann and Peewit«, »The Smurfs«), developed in the 1960s together with Will and other colleagues and later continued by Thierry Culliford and Studio Peyo. A film adaptation is in the works; in addition, fans were able to look forward to brand-new adventures of little Benny starting in 2013.
