Benny is a small, actually completely normal boy – were it not for his incredible strength. Pulling up trees, jumping higher than a house or hurling cars with his bare hands? No problem for Benny. The harder part for him is dosing his powers in everyday life: what he touches breaks all too easily, which is why other children don't like to play with him.

Only when Benny has a cold do his powers leave him – then he is a well-behaved little boy. But bad behaviour and criminal schemes are abhorrent to him, and so he repeatedly stumbles into adventurous entanglements where he can put his powers to good use. Villains and scoundrels have hardly a chance against him – provided he doesn't catch a cold.

A charming classic by Peyo (»Johan and Peewit«, »The Smurfs«), developed in the 1960s together with Will and other colleagues and later continued by Peyo's son Thierry Culliford and Studio Peyo. A film adaptation is planned; new adventures of the little hero have also been announced from 2013 onwards.
