Benny is a small, completely normal boy – were it not for his incredible strength. Pulling up trees, jumping higher than a house or hurling cars with his bare hands? No problem for Benny. The harder part is reining in his powers in everyday life – because many things break all too easily.

Only when he catches a cold do his powers leave him and he really is just a well-behaved little boy. Bad behaviour and criminal schemes are abhorrent to him – and so he keeps stumbling into adventurous entanglements where his superpowers come in handy after all. If he is careful not to catch a cold, villains and scoundrels have hardly a chance.

A charming classic by Peyo (including „Johan and Peewit“, „The Smurfs“), developed in the 1960s together with Will and other colleagues and later continued by Thierry Culliford with Studio Peyo. A film adaptation has been announced; new adventures of little Winnie have also been promised from 2013 onwards.
