Benny is a small boy who would actually quite like to be normal – were it not for his incredible strength. Pulling up trees, jumping over houses or lifting cars with his bare hands: no problem for Benny. The harder part is dosing his powers correctly in everyday life, because many things break all too easily.

• Superpowers: Benny has superhuman strength.
• Everyday worries: nobody wants to play with him because his strength often causes accidents.
• Weakness: with a cold his powers leave him and he becomes a completely normal boy.
• Adventures: bad behaviour and crime are abhorrent to him, which is why he repeatedly gets into adventurous entanglements and puts his abilities to good use.

A charming classic from the pen of Peyo (»Johan and Peewit«, »The Smurfs«), developed in the 1960s together with Will and other colleagues and later continued by Peyo's son Thierry Culliford and Studio Peyo. A film adaptation is in the works, and fans can look forward to new adventures.
