Benny is a small, completely normal boy – at least he would like to be. In truth, he is incredibly strong: he can pull up trees, jump higher than a house and even hurl cars through the air with his bare hands. The real challenge for him, however, is dosing his powers correctly in everyday life. Because things often break in the process, nobody initially wants to play with him.

As long as Benny doesn't have a cold, his powers are nearly limitless. If he becomes ill, however, they leave him and he is just a well-behaved little boy – one who strictly rejects any form of bad behaviour or even criminal schemes. So he repeatedly gets into adventurous entanglements where he can put his superpowers to good use. If he watches out for colds, villains and scoundrels have hardly a chance.

A charming classic from the pen of Peyo (known for Johan and Peewit as well as The Smurfs), developed in the 1960s together with Will and other colleagues and later continued by Studio Peyo under the direction of Thierry Culliford.
