Hidden Springs

On an outing from their retirement community, a group of ageing former Hollywood stars encounter a baby kaiju fleeing military agents, and appoint themselves its protectors. Rob Williams writes, with art by Nil Vendrell, colours by Berta Sastre and letters by Simon Bowland. The result is funnier and more thoughtful than the premise promises, using the monster mostly as an occasion to look at what happens to people after the industry stops calling.
