D'orc has reluctantly joined forces with the dark golem Olavine to stop the enraged necromancer Count Daverus. Whether he will regret that decision while facing the Count's overwhelming army of meat monsters, all while helping the very person who wants him captured, is not much in doubt: little has gone to plan for him so far. Brett Bean continues to write and draw his fantasy comedy single-handedly, holding the line between slapstick and genuine threat.
