Archie in Hell #1

Following the template set by Afterlife with Archie, this ongoing series turns Riverdale into a horror setting. Eisner nominee Patrick Horvath and Russ Manning Award winner Tyler Crook establish that the town has been quietly infiltrated by an ancient order of cultists intent on using human sacrifice to bring a demon lord into the world. With their preparations nearly complete, the cult identifies the final sacrifice required, and the choice puts Archie Andrews at the centre of it. The first issue sets up an ongoing rather than a miniseries, and assumes no familiarity with the Archie horror line.
